California’s budget crisis has had a negative impact on nearly all the state’s inhabitants. Being deep in the red, California’s government has made cuts in vital areas that most people would agree should be untouchable - areas like health care, public safety, and education. We here in the Cal State system feel the crunch as much as anyone. $330.2 million has been cut from this years CSU budget and, as students, we have been left to bear the brunt of the loss through higher tuition. The future is uncertain, but the question still remains: was this an appropriate action? The future ramifications are unclear as is the impact on students. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
